How signals work

Each signal goes through the same steps, automatically, in a few seconds.

  1. A trader posts a trade. Signals come from gold trading sources we've reviewed against their own history before they're allowed into VIP.
  2. We read and check it. Our system reads the signal (direction, entry, stop loss, targets) and runs it through filters: the right market, no duplicates of a trade already sent, and complete levels. Anything it can't read clearly is held back rather than guessed.
  3. You're alerted. The signal is posted in the VIP channel with its levels, and Telegram notifies members within seconds. A chart with the levels follows.
  4. It's tracked to the close. Targets hit, stop loss moves, breakevens and closes are recorded as they happen. You get an alert at each step if you've switched result alerts on.
  5. It joins the results. When the trade closes, its result in pips goes into the public track record, wins and losses alike.

What you do

Gold Signals Daily never trades for you. When a signal arrives you decide whether to take it, size the position for your risk (the position size calculator helps) and place it with your broker.

How sources and signals are chosen

The quality of a signal service comes down to two things: which trade ideas get in, and what's kept out. This is how we handle both.

Choosing sources

Before a source can feed VIP, we analyse its recent history: how many signals it sends, whether its levels are complete, how its claimed results compare with what price actually did, and how deep its losing streaks run. A new source starts on trial, tracked privately, and only goes live if its record holds up.

Filtering signals

  • Market filter. Only the markets we cover (gold first) get through; chatter, adverts and other pairs are dropped.
  • Complete levels. A signal needs a direction, an entry and a stop loss to count.
  • No duplicates. If two sources call the same trade, you get it once.
  • No late copies. A signal found more than a few minutes after it was posted isn't sent as new, because the entry may already be gone.

Price checks

Every signal is also checked against independent minute-by-minute price data: whether the entry was reachable, which targets price really touched, and whether the stop was hit first. This is how we catch sources whose claims don't match the chart. How results are counted is below.

How results are measured

Here's precisely what the numbers on the results page and in the channels mean.

Which signals count

Every signal posted counts from the moment it's sent. Trial sources and historical back-tests are excluded. Nothing is removed after the fact.

How a result is measured

  • Results are in pips: on gold, one pip is a $0.10 price move.
  • A win is a trade closed at a target (or closed in profit). If price hits the first target and the stop is then moved to entry, the trade still counts as a win at the target reached.
  • A loss is a trade closed at its stop loss (or closed at a loss).
  • A breakeven trade closed at its entry; it isn't counted in the win rate.
  • Win rate = wins ÷ (wins + losses).
  • Weeks run Monday to Friday, by when the signal opened.

What's not included

Spreads, commissions, overnight swaps and slippage aren't deducted, because they depend on your broker and account. On gold the spread is typically 2 to 4 pips per trade on major brokers, and more around news. Results also assume every target and stop was filled exactly at its level.

Independent price checks

Alongside the reported results, every signal is checked against independent minute-by-minute price data to confirm the entry was reachable and which levels price actually touched. We use these checks to vet sources and will publish verified figures alongside the reported ones.
